We all enjoyed our stay in Shela House...
We could not have dreamt of a more beautiful and fun wedding. All the guests were truly impressed by the beauty of the island, the special atmosphere but also the professionalism of the staff and how things run smoothly.

Our second stay in Lamu...
This was our second stay here in Lamu in one of your beautiful homes and every stay has been fantastic. We had such a wonderful time, enjoyed delicious meals on our rooftop terrace, lounged on the sun-beds and found such peace and tranquillity there! Your staff is so helpful and professional and it would be hard to find a better place to stay in Lamu! We are hooked and will be back very soon!

Thank you so much again for making our stay in Shela so wonderful. The house was a DREAM, and we thought that the staff were particularly good. They were all charming, and looked after us all so well. The food was delicious and the ice cream was divine, and my only request for next time (as I am sure there will be) is to add coffee ice cream to the repertoire. I have a particularly good recipe if you want, which I make in an ice cream maker. Another alternative would be 'affogato' which is vanilla ice cream with strong black coffee poured over it!
